Description: Online training with immediate access upon enrollment.
Marketing your company`s products directly to consumers–called DTC advertising–can be a powerful sales tool. It can also land you in hot water if you don`t know the rules related to it, including those for Internet advertising. The rules for promoting medical products to healthcare professionals are especially full of restrictions, particularly for activities sponsored by the company that have educational, scientific, or professional value. Promoting a medical product through samples is also effective, but the Prescription Drug Marketing Act specifies certain legal requirements for it. This course covers these special topics. It assumes a basic understanding of the general rules of marketing and promoting medical products.

Certification Requirements: Students must view the entire program and successfully pass an online, multiple-choice final assessment with >80% passing grade within a 90 day period of time (180 days for Professional Certification Programs). Certificate is accessible in PDF format immediately after satisfying requirements.

Online Training Programs Include:

  • Immediate access to training: Instructions, user name, password and receipt of payment emailed instantly upon online enrollment
  • Optimized for learning: Courses include voice-overs, easy navigation, progress checks, and high-quality animations to increase retention of subject matter
