Lung cancer can be classified as either small cell lung cancer (SCLC) or non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), based on the characteristics of the disease and its response to treatment. This course will provide the basic information needed to understand how small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is diagnosed. It also includes case studies of two patients at different stages of the disease.
