How Do I Add My Digital Badge or Certificate to a Backpack or LinkedIn?

How Digital Badges Work

Biopharma Institute’s badges are issued in a format that is compatible with backpack validators such as Badgr or LinkedIn.
For the badge to validate correctly, the email address and name in your Biopharma Institute account must match those in your backpack service.
- If they don’t match, you can:
  - Add your Biopharma Institute email to your Badgr account.
  - Or update your name/email in either system so they match.

This link is the validator for your certification and can also be shared directly on platforms like LinkedIn (even without a backpack service).

Your Professional Certificate

Your certificate of completion will have a unique QR code and ID code displayed.

This link can also be added to LinkedIn to verify your credential.

How to Add to LinkedIn

Most students add their Biopharma Institute credentials to the “Licenses & Certifications” section of their profile.

Here’s how:

Go to your LinkedIn profile.
Scroll to the Licenses & Certifications section.
Click + Add Certification.
Enter the program name (e.g., Good Laboratory Practice Professional Certification).
Issuing Organization: Biopharma Institute.
Paste the digital badge link (above) into the “Credential URL” field.

Your LinkedIn entry will look something like this:

[THE NAME OF THE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM]
Credential ID: [LINK TO BADGE or CERTIFICATE]

Other Ways to Share

Post a copy of your certificate as an image (JPG, PNG, GIF) in your LinkedIn feed.
